Greater Cincinnati Commitment
CCR is encouraging citizens to make “The Greater Cincinnati Commitment.”  “The Greater Cincinnati Commitment” is seen as a first step to help eliminate racism, prejudice and stereotypes of all forms in the Cincinnati region. One of CCR's partner organizations, the Cincinnatus Association is spearheading “The Greater Cincinnati Commitment”. Wayne Hicks, a member of the Cincinnatus Association summarized the importance of the commitment. “The commitment is necessary in our community, because all of the usual processes have led nowhere. Our region will never live up to its potential until we face the issue of race relations, white privilege and economic inclusion in a candid manner,” said Hicks.

It is in this spirit the CCR Board of Trustees encourages you to read the commitment carefully consider it, sign it and mail it back to the CCR office. Staff will collect the forms and present them to the Cincinnatus Community Improvement Panel.
